Came across the curious scene above during a recent trip to a stadium in Seoul, Korea. Perhaps the plants were there to watch grass 'speed-grow' across/ along the running track (see image below)...

Hello,
I went to this event, it was a different experience. The idea of housing design activities into a stadium encouraged people to visit and interact.
Also the idea of reusing the plastic cups in a spherical form to be pods for plants was a good idea.
